Football's governing body FIFA has launched an investigation into the state of the sport in Belize after the country's leading football team was excluded from the 2014-15 CONCACAF Champions League. On Sunday, August 10, a CONCACAF inspector ruled that the national team and its players were not fit for international matches. The CMC reports that the Belizean Football Federation (FFB) is under scrutiny after two of its members were removed from the league on Friday.

FFB president Ruperto Vicente said FIFA had already hired a local company to help the federation restructure its finances. According to Vicentes, "FIFA is already working with local companies to help finance the national team and the Belizean Football Federation (FFB), and they are helping them to put FIFA's finances in order." FIFA has already signed contracts with local companies to help fund our national football association.

Like Athletes in Action, Sports in Reach is a faith-based organization based in Campbellsville, Kentucky, that operates a disco golf course in Belize City, one of the most beautiful places in the country. The local association sponsors a number of races throughout the year, including the Disc Golf Course San Ignacio, which starts in SanIgnacio and ends in Belizing City. It runs through the jungle and offers a rich flora and fauna, so players can enjoy an amazing landscape while playing.

The National Library Service of Belize is also based in Belizing City and operates mobile libraries across the country. Belmopan is home to one of the largest libraries in the world, the National Public Library System (NPS), which operates in all countries. This is also a new phenomenon and you can apply for it both on the website of the National Library and on its website.

The Marion Jones Sports Complex, formerly known as the National Stadium and now named after the former captain of the Belizean national football team and national coach, houses one of the largest football stadiums in the world, the Belmopan Stadium. It also has the second largest FIFA-certified football stadium in the Caribbean, owned by the Belizean Football Association, and a capacity of 2,500,000.

In 1962, a committee chose the site, now known as Belmopan, on the western edge of the Belizean capital San Pedro Sula. With a population of over 20,000, it is the fastest growing population centre in Belizing and its capital with an average annual income of $1.5 million.

Understandably, people in the city are football fanatics and with a FIFA-certified football pitch they behave like bandits. The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) has recently completed the construction of a new grass pitch in Belmopan to keep the tradition of football alive. It is part of the new image the Football Association has forged for Belizing and an important step in the development of its sport.

With this new and innovative facility, Belize's national team will be able to actively participate in the CONCACAF championships while also hosting local, national and international competitions. The sport can be played in Belmopan with the help of the new grass pitch of the FFFB, but the organized Little League is a non-starter as it must meet certain criteria to participate. Belizing does not commit itself to sports and leisure services within the WTO.

Limited funding will be allocated to sporting services such as reliable data to monitor athletes' progress and the ability to attract and retain qualified people for sports management. In order to further develop the standards to support the implementation of national sport policies, the Sports Council has worked with some national associations to start quarterly meetings to ensure harmonisation in this sector. The use of technologies to measure and measure athlete performance must be used by both the Council of Sport and sports organisations to promote this sector as a viable and lucrative business.

Belize Belmopan Bandits have been eliminated from the 2014-2015 Champions League tournament due to a lack of a stadium capable of hosting matches. Costa Rica's Club Sport Herediano will now host the match, and a fourth match will follow on Monday 14 August against the city of Xunantunich, known for its Mayan ruins near the border with Guatemala. The Bandits play their first home game on Thursday, August 21, against Isidro Metapan.

Located in the Belmopan suburb on the Belize River, Banana Bank Jungle Lodge offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, camping and fishing. Belopan is the host city of the annual Belizing Agriculture Trade Show, the largest agricultural trade show in the world with over 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world.

Whenever the national team puts on their official jerseys and takes to the pitch, fans fail to support their favourite team and proudly display their country's colours whenever they put them on. They assured the nation that they had not given up on letting the Belmopan Bandits compete in the Champions League. Vicente has written to CONCACAF to ask for a change, but the decision is final and we have been criticised in some quarters.
